Clinical Cancer Center's new brochure

The Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University in conjunction with the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation recently opened a modern, outpatient clinical cancer center. The facility offers a full range of oncology services and provides access to specialized research, clinical trials and diagnostic services.

All Lurie Cancer Center physicians are full-time faculty of the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University. These clinicians represent an array of medical and surgical specialties and are directly involved in clinical teaching, research and education.

The Lurie Cancer Center is the permanent home for the Divisions of Hematology/Oncology, Surgical Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology.

• Hematology/Oncology provides diagnosis and treatment of various forms of cancer as well as disorders of the blood system.
• Surgical Oncology provides diagnosis and treatment of diseases and cancers involving the skin, breast, gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas and colon.
• Gynecologic Oncology provides diagnosis and treatment of tumors and cancers of the female reproductive system, as well as follow-up for abnormal Pap tests.

In addition, the Lurie Cancer Center is supported by an on-site pharmacy and lab services as well as a comprehensive nutrition and psychosocial care program.
