At the Lurie Cancer Center, we are constantly striving to find new and better ways to fight cancer. Our National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation as a Comprehensive Cancer Center, awarded to only 41 cancer centers in the country, reflects our commitment to the highest standards of prevention and screening, patient care, research, outreach and education.
As a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), we collaborate with 21 of the world's leading cancer centers dedicated to research that improves the quality of cancer care and developing the most effective treatment guidelines. Advances made in these areas means greater survival rates and improved quality of life for our patients.
