The Cancer Prevention and Control Division of Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University includes faculty whose research focuses on identification of modifiable lifestyle factors, gene-environment interactions and chemopreventive agents for cancer prevention, development of state-of-the-art technologies for early cancer detection and successful strategies for improving communication of cancer risk and care, palliative care, treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients. This Division is led by Susan M. Gapstur, PhD.
